Have you ever tried to pour your tea right from a large porcelain tea bag? Now you have a chance to do that! Here is a teapot that was created according to modern design with its tendency to recycle everyday use objects. Those objects can transform and get a second life in form of new products – they get new look and serve new purposes. That was the case with this teapot. Common tea bag became a base of my ceramics transformations.
The material, from which this piece was made, makes it look like it was made of paper. This teapot is decorated with handmade drawings. I drew all the drawings and then, using a ceramic tracing paper, I copied them onto teapot. That’s how I get this ‘real drawing paper’ effect. Irregular shape makes this teapot one in a kind, so it may serve as a small sculpture form, which will look great in every modern interior.
